**In short:** $JUP is the token of Jupiter, Solana's biggest trading app. A fake claim page, jupag.pro, tells JUP holders their tokens are "frozen". They aren't; JUP can't be frozen.

## What is $JUP?

$JUP is the token of [Jupiter](https://jup.ag), the swap aggregator most Solana trades route through. Jupiter pays rewards to JUP stakers each quarter through its Active Staking Rewards (ASR).
Claims for the April-June 2026 round have closed on the website; Jupiter's page says late claimers should open a support ticket at support.jup.ag before 7 October. That deadline is what fake claim pages lean on.

## The claims, checked

- "Your tokens are frozen. Submit an on-chain allocation transaction to make them transferable." (jupag.pro, Oct 2, 2026): **false**.
