A pump.fun caller's wallet handed tokens to the wallets selling into his call
On 6 October, @0xEthan's pump.fun profile wallet bought $dabcat in the same block as three other wallets. Those three sold into his callout. Then his wallet sent two of them 16 million tokens, and both sold within 2 seconds.

pump.fun pays callers who post coin picks to their followers through Callout Rewards. @0xEthan is one of its best-followed callers, with about 72,500 followers on his pump.fun profile. On 9 October, Bubblemaps published a thread saying a cluster of wallets connected to him bought just before his calls and sold minutes later, across 49 callouts. We checked one of those callouts ourselves, on chain.
The wallet is not a guess. pump.fun's own profile data for the username 0xEthan lists the X account @0xEthan and the wallet 6yVb4p…JBqm. Below, "the profile wallet" means that wallet.
At 7:24:57 AM ET on 6 October, the profile wallet bought $dabcat for 0.84 SOL. Three other wallets bought in the same block, slot 453887420: CLiXvf (1.06 SOL), GKMJwv (0.95 SOL) and 1chdHB (1.17 SOL).
Bubblemaps' chart puts his $dabcat callout at about 7:35 AM ET. We could not pull the callout time from pump.fun ourselves, so that time is theirs. From 7:36:15 AM, the three wallets sold, in 24 sells over about eight minutes, until each had sold everything it bought. In the middle of that, at 7:39:08 AM, the profile wallet bought another 1.01 SOL.
At 7:45:13 AM ET the profile wallet signed a transfer: 8,678,088 $dabcat to CLiXvf and 7,328,936 to GKMJwv. At 7:45:15 AM, two seconds later, CLiXvf sold exactly 8,678,088 for 2.18 SOL and GKMJwv sold exactly 7,328,936 for 1.73 SOL. Three minutes later, at 7:48:38 AM, the profile wallet bought another 0.21 SOL of $dabcat.
Across the coin, the three wallets put in 3.19 SOL and took out 22.88 SOL. That includes the 3.91 SOL from selling the tokens the profile wallet handed them.
Why would anyone do this? One possibility is the one Bubblemaps describes: buy before a call, let the call bring buyers, and sell to them. Moving tokens from the profile wallet to other wallets before selling would keep sells off the wallet that followers can see. We can't say who runs the three wallets.
On 9 October, after the Bubblemaps thread, @0xEthan posted: "The stats don’t lie and my average call does a 5.5x". On 10 October pump.fun co-founder @a1lon9 announced changes to Callout Rewards: the focus, he wrote, will be "whether the people that trusted your callout were able to make money or not." Wallets that buy first and sell into the call can still look like winners under that test.
- Who controls CLiXvf, GKMJwv and 1chdHB. No one has publicly linked them to a person. What links them to the profile wallet here is the same-block buy and the 16.0M transfer.
- The exact callout time. The ~7:35 AM ET time is from Bubblemaps' chart; we could not read it from pump.fun ourselves.
- Whether the same handoff happened on his other callouts. We checked one of the 49 Bubblemaps lists.
- How much the profile wallet itself made or lost on $dabcat, and what Callout Rewards it was paid for this call.

At 7:45:13 AM ET the profile wallet sent 16.0M $dabcat to two wallets that had been selling since just after the callout. Both sold exactly the amounts they received at 7:45:15 AM ET.
