Warning: a "Moonshot listing vote" for BOB is a wallet drainer. Since 20:49 UTC at least five X accounts have posted the same text, "Attention $BOB Family! YOUR vote matters!", each with a made-up listing ID and a tinyurl to one of four look-alike pages (moonshot-listing-qwt, -tfk, -sdc and -rbs, on netlify.app). All four run the same code: connect your wallet, have an outside server build transactions, sign them all. A vote needs no signature. The tally is invented; give it any token address and it makes one up. Nothing ties it to BOB's team. Don't connect a wallet to it.

Governor Newsom signed AB 2409 on 27 September. It bars California public officers and employees from issuing a meme coin. It also bars platforms from listing, for California residents, any meme coin offered by or with a federal, state or local official, but only coins issued on or after 1 January 2027, so it doesn't reach a coin launched before then. The governor's announcement says the ban covers coins using an official's "likeness or image"; the bill text doesn't say that. It covers coins "offered by, or in partnership with" an official. The Attorney General can sue to stop either and claw back profits; local prosecutors can sue an official who issues one.

Quebec's securities regulator, the AMF, has put pump.fun on its list of investor warnings, filed under crypto assets and high-risk platforms. The notice is dated 25 September and names Baton Corporation LTD as another business name pump.fun uses. It is a registration warning, not a fraud allegation or an asset freeze; three other firms were added to the list the same day.
