$WIRED coin on pump.fun: the 'verified' dev sold at the top and kept ~390 SOL in fees
$WIRED had pump.fun's "Verified coin" badge. Its creator sold everything 32 minutes after launch and kept about 390 SOL in fees. Site and X: gone.
$WIRED in short, as of 2 October 2026: the creator's wallet launched the coin, sold all of its tokens 32 minutes later, then kept about 390 SOL in trading fees. The website and X account are gone. Late on 1 October the coin was worth about $16,000, down from a $2.71 million high. pump.fun showed it with a "Verified coin" badge, which only ever meant its social links checked out at launch. By 12:22 AM ET on 2 October, pump.fun had removed the badge.
Here is what the creator's wallet, Dxi7…JkJs, did, from its own transactions. At 4:29 PM ET on 1 October it created $WIRED on pump.fun and bought 20 million tokens for 0.59 SOL. At 5:01 PM it sold all 20 million for 215 SOL. Two minutes later it collected about 369 SOL in creator fees, the share of trading fees pump.fun pays a coin's creator, sending 7.4 SOL of it on to another wallet, 9nHN…AhhS2q, in the same transaction. Two smaller collections over the next six minutes, each with a similar cut sent on, left the creator about 393 SOL in fees. At 5:10 PM it moved 607 SOL into a staking account. In all, about 608 SOL from the sale and the fees, roughly $71,000 at 1 October's price of about $117 a SOL, from a 0.59 SOL start.
The fees are the part most traders miss. On pump.fun a coin's creator earns a cut of every trade, so a creator can make money from the buying frenzy even after selling out. $WIRED traded about $6.4 million in its first day. Every buyer after 5:01 PM was paying fees to a creator who no longer held a single token.
What $WIRED promised, in the description stored with the coin on-chain: "Creator fees, directed to anyone on X and deposited straight into their bank account. PayPal and Cash App too. No wallet, no exchange." A product built on routing creator fees to other people, the idea behind UsePaid, a real service that pays creator fees to X accounts (our check of its claim portal). The creator fees it actually collected went to the creator's own wallet.
After that, the project disappeared. On 2 October getwired.fun returns Vercel's "deployment not found" error, and X says the @getwired account doesn't exist. With both gone, there was no one behind the project left to contact.
The badge is the reason this matters beyond one coin. pump.fun's own guide to creating a coin explains it: "Coins with verified X / Telegram links tend to get more attention in the discovery feed." So "verified" means the creator attached social accounts that checked out at launch. It says nothing about what the creator will do. $WIRED's verified X account and site were gone within hours, and the coin still showed the badge when we checked at 9:50 PM ET on 1 October. By 12:22 AM ET on 2 October, pump.fun had removed it; we don't know exactly when. pump.fun's terms say it doesn't endorse or verify the coins launched on it. If pump.fun explains the badge further, we'll add it here.
Before you buy a coin because of a badge, check three things it doesn't: how much the creator holds (pump.fun shows "Dev" on the coin page; on $WIRED it went to 0% within the first hour), whether the creator is collecting fees, and whether the site and socials are older than the coin.
- Why pump.fun removed $WIRED's badge early on 2 October, and whether it re-checks "verified" links on other coins.
- Who is behind the creator wallet, and whether other wallets bought early alongside it.
- Who 9nHN…AhhS2q is. It received about 12 SOL from the creator, including a cut of each fee collection.
- Where the 607 SOL goes from the staking account.

The claims, checked
who said it, and what the evidence shows“"Verified coin"”
pump.fun's docs tie "verified" to X and Telegram links. $WIRED had them at launch; by 2 October the X account was deleted and the site was down, and the badge was still showing late on 1 October. pump.fun removed it early on 2 October. It never meant the creator wouldn't sell.
