Ryan Trost

A trader with about 37,000 X followers who promoted the GP, CRACKER and party hat stack and said he held nearly a quarter of CRACKER. A second wallet, fed by the one we traced to him, sold about 11.7M during its crash.

Each wallet here is tied to Ryan Trost only as its entry states, with the evidence. We make no claim about wallets not listed.

What did Ryan Trost do in the party hat run?

In September 2026 Ryan Trost, @ryantrost on X, publicly laid out a plan in numbered phases for a stack of RuneScape-themed coins on StonkFun: GP at the base, CRACKER paired against it, and six "party hat" coins paired against those. On 22 September he wrote that he was holding nearly a quarter of the CRACKER supply and predicted "Party Hat Mania".

On 24 September he announced CRACKER grants: he and others would seed CRACKER and GP into all six party hats. The run peaked on the 23rd and 24th. Between the daily closes of 25 and 26 September, GP lost 58% of its value and CRACKER 91% (our file). This file records what he said publicly, and what the chain shows for the wallet we traced to him and the wallet it fed; it makes no claim about his trades beyond that.

The claims, checked

who said it, and what the evidence shows
PARTLY TRUE

“panic dumping every single promising $GP pair for no reason whatsoever at the absolute bottom”

A trader on X, about Trost and @AviFelman, Sep 26, 2026, 1:26 AM ET

A wallet fed by the one we traced to Trost did sell CRACKER that night: about 11.7M between 12:25 and 1:32 AM ET. It sold mid-fall, not at the bottom, and the slide had started two hours earlier. We haven't checked his trades in other GP pairs or anything about Avi.

HOLDS UP

“I locked up 16% of cracker until it either breaks ATH or 4/20”

Ryan Trost (@ryantrost), Sep 28, 2026, 9:48 AM ET

The traced wallet locked 80M CRACKER, about 16% of supply, until 20 April 2027. The price trigger on-chain is stricter than he said: $0.10 a token, roughly eight times CRACKER's peak of about $0.012 (a $5.8M market cap).

PARTLY TRUE

“cracker broke down (again not my selling lmao)”

Ryan Trost (@ryantrost), Sep 30, 2026, 8:08 AM ET

The slide started two hours before any sale from wallets on this file. But 4BFX…, fed by the wallet we traced to him, sold about 11.7M CRACKER into the steepest 25 minutes, roughly 30% of all CRACKER sold then, and sold into all six party hats; part of the proceeds came back to the traced wallet. We haven't established that 4BFX… is his.

What we don't know
  • Whether 4BFX… and CW8W… are his. 4BFX… sent CRACKER back to the wallet we traced to him, and CW8W… sent sale proceeds back to it (CW8W… signed both transfers), which points to common control. Nothing public ties them to him directly.
  • His trades before 25 Sep in the party hat pairs.
